Is iPad more important than books?
An iPad is being provided to every student of a elementary public school in Maine, United States as a permanent tool of learning(according to some recent news). Here a big question arises. Can iPad replace or remove books? Some people might agree, admire use of gadgets, and count benefits of the new technology like larger storage capacity, possibility of easy updates. They say books become outdated, need to be changed every semester, and carry limited information.
But others don't like use of such technology for young students, rather insist on improving quality of education, and take it as a marketing move. They say that the approach and philosophy regarding education is to be updated and improved. Hiring good teachers is more imporant that buying fancy gadgets.
What is your opinion? What is more important for kids books or iPad?
