Geology as Career

Geology is the study of the earth, the materials it is made of, the shape and structure of earth, and the processes and events affecting earth. Geologists study history of earth, understand and predict natural hazards, study how processes and events changed earth, and their future possibilities. 

Specialisation areas: paleontology, mineralogy, hydrology, volcanology, glaciology, meteorology, mineralogy, oceanography.
